Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

Raid your parent's closet. Maybe your great aunt gave you one. Where it comes from doesn't matter. Just wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and bring some canned goods for the food pantry. There will be Sloppy Joes, the annual Gingerbread house making contest and more, more, more...

Finally. The kick off for our leadership program is really going to happen.

All last students, their parents and last mentors are invited to the kick-off luncheon in the Student Center on Sunday January 1oth, 2010 right after the morning service. More info to follow soon.

We will discuss exactly how the program works, let you decide on your goals and get you started fulfilling the requirements.

Also there will soon be a last link on the menu above. Check it for specifics last activities.

Lock-in 2009

Come stay up all night! The lock-in will feature laser tag, music, games, food and a bunch of fun.

8 PM Friday, November 21st through 8 AM Saturday, November 22nd.

$10 per PCBC Student. You only pay $5 if you bring a friend and each friend is $5.

Each student must turn in a signed release form. See the resource page to get a copy of the form.

If you play an instrument or like to sing, please join is as we put together a praise band for the student ministry. Talk to Phil if you are interested.

Student Worship

Join us Sunday nights from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the Student Center for our new student worship service.

We use music to praise God (the new band will play at times) and then work on a service project or get challenged by a speaker. Sometimes there will be special hang out times afterward and even theme parties.

Current Discipleship Study - Stewardship

Our current discipleship study is about stewardship.

The High School is using Dave Ramsey's Generation Change curriculum to learn how to deal with money. The sessions are at the Skagg's house on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The Middle School is learning how to use what God has given them. The sessions are in the Student Center on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Discipleship groups are back starting 4/19 at 5:30 PM in the Student Center. We will be studying dating using a book called Dateable: are you? are they?

The book is not required but is recommended.

Classes will be age and gender segregated where appropriate. Contact Phil with any questions.

Knight Night

How long has it been since you had a good joust? Well that's too long.

July 8th at 6:30 PM you will get your chance. Dress as a knight or lady, eat medieval treats and win the tournament. After that you can even swim.

Winter Lock-In 2009

Prosper, TX 8:30 PM to 8:30 AM. Games, laser tag, food, bounce-houses and more. We will leave PCBC at 8:00 PM on Friday, January 2nd and return to PCBC at 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 3rd. Cost is $20 for food & most games. Arcade games are extra.

Christmas Party 2008

UPDATE 12/15/2008 - Great job students. You funded and purchased just under $400 worth of needs and wishes for our angels. Photos coming soon.

Please join us Sunday, December 14th from 12:30 to 4:30 PM at PCBC for our Christmas party.
Bring $10 to shop for an Angel Tree angel (yes you will go shopping during the party.) Eats and some claymation fun too. Oh, I almost forgot the sometimes annual gingerbread house making contest.

The Renovations Have Started

12/5 update - Not everything was finished last week as planned but they are on schedule to have all the painting done this week with the floor going in next week. They really are going to get finished.

11/24 update - lots of progress. New walls in, paint going on the walls. Everything finished except the new flooring and installing the technology by Thanksgiving.

10/30 update - We finally have the permit from the city. New construction happening soon.

The area formerly known as the Youth Room which was formerly known as the Small Auditorium has been destroyed and is being remade into a facility from this century. Stop by and take a look.
