TWO WEEKS!!!!!

This morning I have been going through the forms for camp. I am organizing them and making sure they have all been filled out properly before we leave in two weeks. And while I am sorting and reading all of the names of the students that will be going to Falls Creek with us, I am reminded of this passage:

"I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!" Psalm 108:3-5

The Lord is faithful! He is preparing the hearts of those who are coming to camp right now as we speak! I am excited for the students who are coming with us this summer! I know that camp is a great place to connect with one another and strengthen the bonds that have been made between us all. I am thankful for the volunteers who are coming and willing to give their time to this week. We are truly blessed!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

Sunday 10/20/2009 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Student Center.

Raid your parent's closet. Maybe your great aunt gave you one. Where it comes from doesn't matter. Just wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and bring some canned goods for the food pantry. There will be Sloppy Joes, the annual Gingerbread house making contest and more, more, more...

At last

Finally. The kick off for our leadership program is really going to happen.

All last students, their parents and last mentors are invited to the kick-off luncheon in the Student Center on Sunday January 1oth, 2010 right after the morning service. More info to follow soon.

We will discuss exactly how the program works, let you decide on your goals and get you started fulfilling the requirements.

Lock-in 2009

Come stay up all night! The lock-in will feature laser tag, music, games, food and a bunch of fun.

8 PM Friday, November 21st through 8 AM Saturday, November 22nd.

$10 per PCBC Student. You only pay $5 if you bring a friend and each friend is $5.

Each student must turn in a signed release form. See the resource page to get a copy of the form.
